5.1/5.2 GPU Ribbon hyperlink glitch

Simply observed a GPU ribbon glitch which is reproducible in each UE 5.1 and 5.2. I’m wondering if anybody is aware of any resolution or has already reported to Epic.

If a ribbon has just one particle left, there may be some good likelihood that it’ll hyperlink to a different ribbon, despite the fact that their RibbonIDs differ. I examined it in 2 circumstances: a) one single ribbon emitter which handles the RibbonID separation by itself; b) a baby ribbon emitter reads the dad or mum emitter particle place through Particle Attribute Reader.

It doesn’t matter how excessive or how low the spawn charge is.

“Requires Persistent IDs” is enabled within the PAR setup to accurately write RibbonID, however it isn’t required within the single emitter setup and doesn’t enhance the outcome.

Setting zero RibbonWidth or shade alpha by the tip of Particles.NormalizedAge can disguise the glitch however it doesn’t repair the basic difficulty.

CPU ribbon doesn’t appear to undergo this difficulty in any respect.
