The Puffin gang is again! Primarily based on the Kidscreen Awards and Royal Tv Award-winning Netflix preschool sequence Puffin Rock, Puffin Rock and the New Pals is the primary animated function movie of the franchise. Tune of the Sea and The Breadwinner collaborators WestEnd Movies, Cartoon Saloon, and Canine Ears are teaming up as soon as once more for the primary animated function produced in Northern Eire, which is now in post-production.
New Pals sees Oona, Baba, Might and Mossy return, with new mates Isabelle, Phoenix and Marvin. When the final Little Egg of the season disappears underneath mysterious circumstances, Oona and her new mates race towards time to deliver the Little Egg house earlier than a giant storm hits. Chris O’Dowd (My Father’s Dragon) reprises his position as Narrator, with Amy Huberman (Derry Women), Beth McCafferty, and Eva Whittaker (Wolfwalkers).

The movie is directed by Jeremy Purcell (Joe and Jack, The Secret of Kells), with a script by Puffin Rock’s Sara Daddy. Paul Younger and Tomm Moore produce alongside Nora Twomey from Cartoon Saloon, with John McDaid and Fionnuala Deane from Canine Ears. New Pals is co-funded by Northern Eire Display, Display Eire, RTÉ, and BBC Alba.
