Tips on how to calculate shadow space – SketchUp

Hey guys,
I’m looking for a approach to calculate the realm of the shadow / shade on a floor or walkway to make sure that the design is compliant with the minimal shading share requirement. I attempted all the shadow evaluation plugins however couldn’t discover what I want. Does anybody know of a approach to do that?
Thanks.

whats up, the simplest can be to roughly draw over the shadow to get a floor that may be quantifiable.

Talking of plugins, for extra advanced shapes, 1001shadows ( 1001shadows) is ready to attract shadows on floor for every time or day for a given interval. I haven’t tried it lately although, unsure it’ll work with 2021

thanks @paul.millet. I’m working at a masterplan degree so it’ll take a really very long time to attract the overall shadow. I’ll checkout 1001 shadow. Thanks!

I’d additionally suggest Tig’s Shadow Projector – which is free however you must set the time/day manually so if in case you have so much to do, 1001shadows might be price the price.
