Certain. Mannequin a ball and make it a gaggle or part. Mannequin a field and make it one other part or group. Make sure that each are reported as stable. Use the Stable instruments to subtract the field from the ball.

Choose it and make it a gaggle.

However it may assist should you perceive the geometry of sketchup. It’s not magical, it’s simply edges and faces. By turning on hidden geometry you possibly can see the underlying construction and work with it.
What I’m doing on this vid is principally what ‘Stable Subtract’ is doing beneath the duvet of code.

Choose it by clickin 3 instances on ii, then proper click on and make group or part, you should use the stable inspector plugin to verify in case your geometry doesn’t have errors, generally stray edges can get inside a gaggle and it may take some lime to search out it, stable inspector eliminates them with one click on.

Have in mind how the ball pertains to the block. You can use the nook to align the sphere when creating it. That is centered on the underside nook, however I may have used the midpoint, or made the circle bigger and so forth.
Trim from the stable instruments will go away the block in place.

Nice enter from all of you. Thanks.
It was my ball that was corrupt.
Have a pleasant day :grinning:
