Howdy there. I used to be taking a look at this Fortnite pores and skin, and I used to be questioning how a fabric like this may be made. (i’m speaking in regards to the dice inside)

To me it appears that evidently there isn’t a precise mesh inside, however the shader simulates it completely.

Anybody has an concept on how this could possibly be made?

Thanks!

You possibly can attempt with the bump offset node or any type of parallax UVs. However the dice appears to be like so ‘good’ + the texturing on it make me suppose that it’s precise geo. Mabye revealed by some type of depth comparability. Or customized depth?

Appears to me like a raymarch method, very intelligent.
