Howdy!

I began learning VFX just lately (VFX Apprentice scholar right here) and that is the primary contest I’m participating, I believe it will likely be a great alternative to problem myself.

Somewhat replace: I’m engaged on the shader of the slash and added the flowers and shade info. Some changes nonetheless must be made, however I’ll polish the impact somewhat additional down the highway

Wow that animated idea appears to be like improbable! Curious what’s your background in artwork? You undoubtedly received the aesthetics down which I believe is approach more durable than the technical stuff in VFX!

I took a 2nd animation course like 10 years in the past and was at all times considering artwork, however I used to work publishing books and creating e book covers occasionally
My companion is a VFX artist and he inspired me to provide a shot to the VFX profession and has been serving to me quite a bit (particularly with the shaders)

The previous few days I labored on the dissolve/erosion masks of the affect, timing, and total shapes
I’m pleased with what I’ve up to now haha
