Having a heck of a time determining learn how to mix a translucent/refractive materials with an opaque/metallic materials via Supplies Layers in UE5.
Closest I can get is
a) Setting Base Materials to Opaque and retaining Metallic nature of 1 materials
or b) Setting the Base Materials to Translucent and shedding the metallic and gaining transparency however NOT refractive on the opposite materials.
Base Mat:
Refractive/Translucent Materials – which you’ll see doesn’t have refraction both.
