Convert 2D design to 3D – Professional

Hi there All. I want to convert a drawing rendered in 2D and the scale given with it, to a 3D design.

I don’t know what that is referred to as in English, however in Dutch, it’s referred to as a ‘tekening uitslag’

I’ve made an try to convert the 2D drawing to the right 90-degree offset (from the middle of the sheet thickness), however then I’ve to make various changes to render the design appropriately.

I want to know what’s the easiest way to do that.

Can I, as an illustration, use the Fredo6 extension ‘Joint Push Pull Interactive’ for this? Or are there different alternate options? For instance, can I additionally do it simply with the SU fundamental instruments? Trying ahead to your ideas!

Once I try this kind of modeling, I don’t trouble modeling these elements flat as they’re proven within the plan you’re working from. I simply mannequin them in 3D from the beginning. It’s not that tough to do with the entire dimensions which can be supplied.

Joint Push/Pull may be helpful for making the thickness of the sheet steel.
