Yesterday, throughout ESPN’s Sunday Evening Baseball, followers have been handled to a take a look at the trailer for Marvel Studios’ new live-action espionage thriller, Secret Invasion, coming to Disney+ in June. Within the all-new sequence, set within the present-day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, together with Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth, as they race towards time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
The present stars Samuel L. Jackson; Ben Mendelsohn; Cobie Smulders; Martin Freeman; Kingsley Ben-Adir; Charlayne Woodard; Killian Scott; Samuel Adewunmi; Dermot Mulroney; Christopher McDonald; and Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke; Olivia Colman; and Don Cheadle.
Ali Selim directs and executive-produces with fellow government producers Kevin Feige; Jonathan Schwartz; Louis D’Esposito; Victoria Alonso; Brad Winderbaum; Samuel L. Jackson; Ali Selim; Kyle Bradstreet; and Brian Tucker. Bradstreet can also be the pinnacle author, and Jennifer L. Sales space, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein function co-executive producers.
The sequence’ visible results are created by MARZ, Considered one of Us, and Zoic Studios below the steering of Manufacturing VFX Supervisor Kevin Rafferty.
The sequence was first introduced by Feige again in December 2020, at a Disney’s Investor Day shows, touting Jackson’s Nick Fury and Mendelsohn’s Talos, characters who first met in Captain Marvel, in “the crossover comedian occasion sequence [that] showcases a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who’ve been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Clark’s involvement within the sequence was first introduced in 2021, together with Ben-Adir and Colman’s.
