Russian director/artist Sasha Svirsky, who initially graduated as a painter after which taught himself animation, simply launched his splendidly eccentric, multi-award-winning quick movie “My Galactic Twin Galaction” on-line.
The mixture of a continuous barrage of manic collages, child-like character animation, acrobatic music and sound (by Alexey Prosvirnin) and the director’s stream-of-consciousness narration creates a completely surreal and smile-inducing expertise.
Svirsky describes the movie as: “Good and evil, utopia and dystopia, narrative and post-narrative collide in a mortal battle to entertain the viewers.”
