Exporting to IFC with composed elements – SketchUp

Hello, I’m attempting to export my mannequin to ifc format that retains the mannequin element construction.

Door (ifcDoor)
– Door Leaf (ifcMember)
– Door Body (ifcPlate)

If I classify the subcomponents in addition to the highest element then solely the two subcomponents are exported, if I don’t classify the subcomponents then the highest degree element is exported.

I do know that IFC requirements enable for an object to be decomposed with issues like curtain partitions and offers relationships attributes for this.

Is there any strategy to apply this relationship mannequin to retain the hierarchy on export.

Any assist can be appreciated.

Did you ever work out the reply to your query?

Ifcdoor is the ‘leaf’ , really, if you wish to have the body outlined, it’s known as lining properties:
