The legend of Dracula is born! A trailer and poster have been launched for the upcoming horror flick The Final Voyage of the Demeter, based mostly on a single chilling chapter from Bram Stoker’s basic novel “Dracula.”
The movie tells the terrifying story of the service provider ship Demeter, which was chartered to hold non-public cargo – fifty unmarked picket crates – from Carpathia to London. Unusual occasions befall the doomed crew as they try to survive the ocean voyage, stalked every evening by a cruel presence onboard the ship. When the Demeter lastly arrives off the shores of England, it’s a charred, derelict wreck. There isn’t any hint of the crew.

The Final Voyage of the Demeter stars Corey Hawkins (Within the Heights, Straight Outta Compton) as Clemens, a health care provider who joins the Demeter crew; Aisling Franciosi (Sport of Thrones, The Nightingale) as an unwitting stowaway; Liam Cunningham (Sport of Thrones, Conflict of the Titans) because the ship’s captain; David Dastmalchian (Dune, the Ant-Man franchise) because the doomed ship’s first mate; Jon Jon Briones (Ratched, American Horror Story); Stefan Kapicic (Deadpool movies, Higher Name Saul); Nikolai Nikolaeff (Stranger Issues, Bruised); and Javier Botet (It movies, Mama).
From DreamWorks Photos and the producers of Zodiac and Black Swan, the movie is directed by Norwegian horror virtuoso André Øvredal (Scary Tales To Inform within the Darkish, Trollhunter), from a script by Bragi F. Schut (Escape Room), Stefan Ruzowitzky (The Counterfeiters) and Zak Olkewicz (Bullet Prepare), based mostly on the chapter “The Captain’s Log” of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
