HBO Max has launched the official trailer and key artwork for the upcoming unique 2D grownup animated sequence Fired on Mars, created by Nate Sherman and Nick Vokey and starring Luke Wilson.
The present tells the story of Jeff Cooper, who finds himself adrift after taking a one-way journey to the Crimson Planet, solely to have his bosses unceremoniously get rid of his function—the eight-episode season debuts April 20 on the streamer.
Within the sequence, Jeff Cooper (Wilson) has all of it: a satisfying profession because the graphic designer for house start-up Mars.ly, a relationship along with his soon-to-be Crimson Planet-bound girlfriend, Hannah, and… properly, perhaps that’s it. However when his bosses unceremoniously get rid of his function, Jeff finds himself jobless and unable to return to Earth. Adrift within the sprawling workplace colony, Jeff should reinvent himself and discover that means in a harmful, alien, but all-too-familiar company panorama. An existential and irreverent animated comedy sequence, Fired on Mars explores the precarious relationship between work and self… gentle years away from Earth.
Becoming a member of Wilson within the forged is David Baker; Cory Loykasek; Stephen Root; and Cedric Yarbrough. Visitor stars embody Pamela Adlon; Thomas Haden Church; Tim Heidecker; Frankie Quinones; Emily Watson; and Sean Wing.
The sequence is created and government produced by Sherman and Vokey, with Carson Mell (Silicon Valley, Eastbound and Down, Tarantula”) and Brian A. Miller serving as government producers. Wilson is co-executive producer, and Jackie Buscarino is supervising producer.
