From the workforce at Imaginary Forces: “IF created the principle title for the Grease prequel sequence, Rise of the Pink Girls which hits Paramont+ 45 years after the culture-shifting function movie hit the massive display.
“The musical sequence tells the origin story of the Nineteen Fifties lady gang Pink Girls and takes place at Rydell Excessive in 1954, 4 years earlier than the set of Grease.
“IF CDs Karin Fong and Kathy Liang co-created the principle title sequence. With 50s T-bird jackets as their reference, they created a stop-motion-inspired, high-energy design that places the Pink Girls within the highlight. Paying homage to the beloved movie, they tied in Grease nostalgia with animated birds, a basic experience, and a spunky remix of the unique tune.”
