The Los Angeles Public Library is celebrating its a hundred and fiftieth Anniversary and we bought the prospect to work with the library along side Gallery 1988 to create a poster celebrating 150 books for 150 years. The poster contains precisely 150 titles representing a spread of books from classics to trendy releases. Within the spirit of our Icon sequence of the previous, this poster gave us a chance to re-approach the icon idea however within the type of a bookcase and a wide range of guide spines and covers.
The poster made its debut on the gallery together with many different artistic endeavors celebrating traditional books. The poster is a big 24” x 36” four-color display print on 100 lb Cougar Pure cowl inventory, and with a signed and numbered artist version of 100 prints.
