It’s official. The most recent installment within the Monsterverse is Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, and Legendary has dropped a title reveal trailer for the event. Godzilla Vs. Kong director Adam Wingard is again for the sequel venture, with a script by Terry Rossio and Jeremy Slater from a narrative by Simon Barrett.

The most recent entry within the franchise follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic journey, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla towards a colossal undiscovered menace hidden inside our world. The epic new movie will delve additional into the histories of those Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Cranium Island and past, whereas uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind without end.
Rebecca Corridor, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle will reprise their Godzilla Vs. Kong roles, joined by franchise newcomers Dan Stevens (The Sea Beast, Guillermo del Toro’s Cupboard of Curiosities), Rachel Home (Moana, Koala Man), Alex Ferns (Andor, The Batman), Fala Chen (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), and extra. No phrase but if the larger-than-life VFX shall be dealt with by Scanline VFX or Wētā FX’s groups from Godzilla Vs. Kong.
