The silo demise scene in Witness was achieved virtually with a stunt double and a hidden oxygen tank and masks. “The farm belonged to the household referred to as the Krantzes,” Weir states. “I requested Mr. and Mrs. Krantzes, ‘What’s that?’ They stated, ‘It’s a grain silo.
