The tserkva is a basic instance of Lemko church structure, though it underwent a number of redecorations within the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The builing is at the moment used as a Roman Catholic church below the authority of the parish of Our Woman of Perpetual Assist in Uście Gorlickie. In 2013, the church was included within the UNESCO World Heritage Websites listing.
