The Ottawa Worldwide Animation Competition (OIAF) introduced the creation of the Hélène Tanguay Award for Humour, in recognition of the late Nationwide Movie Board of Canada worker and 2007 OIAF Honorary President. A champion for the worldwide animation group, Tanguay was recognized for her infectious humorousness. In her honor, the brand new award acknowledges animated works that convey an analogous sense of untamed, darkish, or absurd humor.
