Southern Firm, in partnership with Skydio, introduced the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted a conditions-based waiver enabling remote-based, autonomous past line of sight (BVLOS) dock operations throughout its system.
The waiver is likely one of the first of its type and can combine autonomous drone methods in assist of remote-based monitoring and inspection.
