Hello everybody! I’m at the moment learning VFX by CG Spectrum and have been studying the fundamentals of modeling and animation for a few months now earlier than learning Houdini/compositing in my subsequent time period. I got here into the course not figuring out something and I’m having fun with it to date but I really feel like I’m lacking inspiration and motivation to actually get pleasure from it. For slightly background I made a decision to pursue VFX primarily as a result of I didn’t need to be a contract conventional artist, it’s within the film/gaming trade, and it’s a consistently rising and wanted profession not essentially as a result of I used to be tremendous impressed to pursue it (and it’s nonetheless a creative area).
So talking on that, what was a few of your first aha moments as VFX artists the place you determined you have been going to pursue VFX? Was it a film scene? Gaming scene? What provides you inspiration? I’d love to listen to your experiences on what made you need to study VFX and what retains you motivated now.
Thanks a lot,
J
