Tom Driscoll, CTO and Founding father of Echodyne, a startup bringing breakthrough radar functionality to satisfy industrial and protection wants throughout autonomy, safety, and intelligence markets. At Echodyne, Tom leads the corporate’s world-class R&D efforts. Previous to Echodyne, Tom was Managing Director of the Metamaterials Commercialization Middle at Mental Ventures, the expertise incubator which launched the world’s first metamaterials-enabled ventures. Acknowledged as a technologist, inventor, and entrepreneur with a drive to advance the artwork of the attainable, Tom is a named inventor on over 100 patents, has co-founded 5 startups, and serves on the board of administrators of three. He holds a PhD in physics from College of California San Diego, a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd, and is an adjunct professor at Duke College.
